welp after observing the TB's i noticed a coolant line that isnt the same as my A-spec one. the hose goes back to the TB on the A-spec and the j-spec goes to the block. is there a hose on my firewall that goes there or do i plug the hole?. here are some pics

and what is this. it kinda looks familer is it on a-spec?

I think you're getting confused. Or maybe I am...

There's a coolant hose that connects the thermowax to the nipple on the block. That's the same for all engines. I can see where it connects in your pictures, so I'm not sure why you're confused.

A close-up of your third pic would be good.

in the second pic that hose goes to the j-spec TB. but the A-spec TB doesnt have that hole. it just has a hose on it tha connects to itself. it comes off the TB and goes back onto it. now thta i have the A-spec TB on that hose go nowhere. or does it connect to the fire wall or something?

the confusing hose of doom. see how it goes back to the TB. the j-spec one doesnt do that. it goes to block and to the TB

and the 3rd pic

you cant really read the green writing. but the circled thing is the hole that the hose coming off the block goes to

Blow through where that hose connects to the UIM and see where it comes out.

The thermowax must connect to the block somehow.

As for this pic, this Is the Duty Solenoid Valve. It mounts to the top side of the Oil Filler Neck. This Is what you are asking for, right?

dont think i can fit finger in the hole. doesnt look like gashes or nothing. and also when i pulled the turbo off there was alot of oil in the manifold. im guessing its just from it moving around and not from the oil be drained

Damn that harness looks hella clean!

Mine was really grimey when I got the Jspec.

I ust stripped mine down and there was **** in some of the water passages and oil areas. Also the ******* oil pan was punctured! DAMMIT!

Anyways not a bad looking engine from the outside but be careful. The best route will be to get it rebuilt.

Luckily I got my work bonus at the time my cars blew their coolant seals so I have just enough to get it done the right way.

well im still in school only makin 8 bucks an hour. it took me forever to save up for my engine and if it doesnt work and i need a rebuild i think i will break down and cry. i got my engine from FC3s.org and it seems like they put some kind of clear coat on it to make it all shiney.
