I clicked your car link. Man, White S5 T2's really are amazing.
I was wondering if anyone could point out fundimental differences about the two cars. I am currently an oldschool (86) S4 guy. I've only seen a handful of S5 cars. We only work on a handful of S5 cars here at the shop. What things would i like or dis-like about the S5?
Thanks for the opinions guys, I'm gunna need them (the dark side of the turbo world is calling me....)

um i own an s5 and have seen a few s4s. the way i see it is the s5 is a much more finished car inside and out estheticaly. you pay for this at the price of a few pounds but you get more power anyways. the s5 just has a classicness about it in the way everything was done. even though its baisiclay the same car. s5s always seem "newer"(not just 'cus they are litteraly) and more atractvive even if in worse condition to me. the touches of the s5 seem to give them a sort of timelessness in terms of style that the s4 and even to some extent an fd doesnt cary. it just OOZES everyhting that was good and true about late '80s japanese automotive design. starightforward without being cheapened or takcky while remaining estheticaly pleesing and uniform. maybe i waxed a little poetic there but i say go s5. just my $.02

s5's look better than s4's, but I don't like the electronic omp or the auto seat builts. The engine itself is slightly stronger and can handle a little more power than a s4 engine. But unless you're planning on going over 400 rwhp I don't think that will be an issue. You can swap the s5 turbo onto the s4 as well as the wheels and spoiler.

Relisys190, thanks for the complement. If you liked pics of my car, it looks better in person!! I say go for white S5 TII as long as it's well taken care of. Looks like the car is not abused and that's always a good thing.
Electric OMP sucks but there is always pre-mix I say ditch that OMP and premix!

I'd take the white car, but I'm wary of 7s that HAVEN'T been beat on a bit. See what he says about how much he's redlined it, how often he drives it, etc. There was a beautiful S5 NA for sale when I was looking for my car. It was a good price, and just MINT, old man driven. I went with an enthusiast-driven S4 NA, and my car is extremely healthy, while the S5 blew its engine thanks to carbon buildup during a test drive.

Personally, I'd go with the least modded/mileage FC. To have a modded FC on the platter Is not always a good thing. My preferance Is s4's. Even though I have everything s5 TII on my s4 NA car. Good luck and I don't have to tell you that the TII Is an entirely different animal - as compared to NA's, right?
