Intermittent front primary

I've been having this problem where my car hesitates at any rpm
before getting into boost. This happens especially on the freeway. So a few months ago I put in NGK platinum plugs. The car ran like crap afterwards, but somehow I forgot that the plugs were in.

The other day, I went to check my timing and found that my Front Leading plug was firing intermittently from the coil, and my Rear Trailing wasn't firing at all. I quickly changed the plugs back to normal NGK plugs and got my rear trailing back, however my from Leading still fires intermittently. I get steady pulses, then a hiccup.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I think this may be the only problem I have in order to get the car working. Can bad grounds cause this? Please help

the coils have been swapped with known good ones. The wires are just over a month old. The plugs went in yesterday.
