The cargo / luggage cover is worth every penny. They only sell the 89+ version, but it will fit nicely in an 86-88.

they are nordskog dig. water and oil temp gauges with memery recall. $55 or so each from sumit. but the senders arn't hooked up yet so they both just sit at 38F racing beat oil filter adapter thing is in the mail.

Go for it! I test fitted an 8" in my towers and it was a great fit. I would have done it if I hadn't spent so much on my JL components up front. I just went with a set of coaxials instead. It looks like all you would need to do would be seal the little holes with fiberglass or something.

8inch speakers may fit, it all depends on the brand, as some have different styles and brackets sticking out.....
