interesting problem???

YEsterday i took a 88 t2 for a test drive it was all good. The guy told me that the secondary injectors need 2 be replaced for bigger 1's or new ones. While i drove the car after 3500 rpm there is a hesitation. I understand the 3500 - 4000 rpm hesitattion but it keeps doing it like it needs more gas like it moves but it rocks back and forth becuase i guess it needs more gas. Is this normal what should i do. It is a rebuilt with only 7 k on the motor i dont think it is leaking anything and i dont think anything is sticking. PLEASE help... email me @ mazer345@hotmail.com

Is it stock? Why does he think it needs injectors?
Does it happen at the same RPM range in all gears, all the time?
Has the Fuel filter been replaced?
Good luck/skill
