It only matters if you still have the fuel pressure solenoid in the loop (inline with the vacuum for the FPR). It's a non-issue if the solenoid is gone and your FPR vac line straight to manifold.
the FPR wasnt doing it's job in the case j9fd3s refers to, the solenoid was still in the loop but not plugged into the harness.
