Intercooler Questions..

Im looking for an intercooler to front mount, and have come across this..

The core dimensions are as follows :
19.25" long
12.25" Tall
2" Thick
2.5" inlet and outlet pipes

I know this isnt quite as large as some other ones used to front mount, but it is sizably bigger than stock, so should cool much better, as well as have less pressure drop than a larger core. (right?) Anyway, mainly my question is, what are the 2 nipples at the bottom of the endtanks for?

you could use the nipples for temp sensors.
that would be really cool to check how efficient the IC really is.
other wise just plug them up

I think those "nipples" are just holes for mounting bolts like the top ones

Ahh...now I see...... They looked like smaller inlet and outlet tubes to me when I first looked at them..

if u want a great intercooler, thats practically identical to the greddy, except a few mm shorter and thicker and it has 3" in and out. go for a skyline gtr intercooler, thats what i got, and its bad ***. i bought mine in perfect condition for $350
