Intake manifold: cleaning porting polishing?
Now im not usualy one to go for the bling bling things on cars, i like the exterior of my vert just fine... but i figure if im gonna be modding the engine and taking apart the intake anyway, how hard would it be to take the intake and throw it under a polishing wheel for a lil while to get some shine on it.
I was wondering if anyone has tried to polish their intake manifolds before, how hard it was, how long it took, what you used, all that good stuff... and importantly how well it came out (pics?)
Also, while I have it apart, what tips would people have as far as cleaning it (and possibly porting it on the inside for better flow)
What kinda chemicals would remove the carbon buildup the best?
And does anyone have any hp numbers for those pinapple racing sleeves.. are they worth the 50 bucks?
For the record the car is a 91 N/A, and i still have the airpump.

I started to polish my upper intake manifold for my TII conversion and holy s**t. I spend hours hours and more hours sanding down the casting and got no where. That is when I took it to a pro with the right tools and DAMN does it look bling bling!!!! So moral of the story is have some one else polish it. It’s worth the money.
