PA intake mani vac leak

I have a small vac leak on my intake mani, (i sprayed brake cleaner in that area) I"m going to get it fix soon, but my question is can I hurt the engine by taking it to the 1/4 track and race it like that?
Thanks

A vac leak will just mess up your idle. It's not going to hurt anything but that.
