This is only a guess. but I'm pretty sure you can put an FD alt in both a turbo. Since you can a NA. I would assume yes.

A Turbo alt from the same series fits an NA of the same series without modification. The only difference between them is the orientation of the plug - a Turbo alt's plug is positioned so that it doesn't interfere with the TMIC.

The alternators are the same within the years.
S4 / S5/ S6 are different

How is the alt plug be different between TII and NA?
S4 plug is on the back
S5 I think is on the side
S6 is on the side.

I'm using NA alt on my TII with no problem. It's VERY clear of the TMIC.

Do a search for FD alt swap and you'll see a pic which explains the wiring difference.

i cant find anything to do with the wiring plug-ins. Where mine has a "T" plug in this one has a " l l " plug in, i imagine i cant cut off the two ends and just put another connector on, it cant be that easy

Oh, and do not forget to fuse and 12v wires from the Alt.with a 30amp fuse.

I made a small wire wiith a 30amp fuse inline to connect the B to S terminal for the Alt's power needs.
