make sure your battery is being boosted, like previously stated. fuel, air, spark , rebuilds are finnicky ,, takes a little work to get them going

Most of the time, especially with new rebuilds, if it doesn't start on the first couple cranks, you flood the engine. So, unflood it and try and start it again. Repeat as necessary.

That's assuming that you have air, spark, compression, and fuel.

When it does finally start, it's gonna smoke like a train for a while... so make sure you have more than adequate ventilation.

Edit: Hey, welcome to the club!!!

Do you know for SURE you're getting spark and fuel?

Are your fuel-lines crossed?

Is your timing set?
