Install now or later?

I have the following parts I am debating whether or not to install. The reason is because I am going to be installing my Reman next week, and I am not sure if it is a good Idea or not to install these, anyways here is the list:

FD Fuel pump
Fuel Pump rewire
Apexi SAFC 2
Blitz SBC Spec R
Innovate LM-1 w/ RPM convertor
HKS Mega flow

BTW I will be running a full 2.5" exhaust all the way back (no cats). I have thought about atleast wiring the SAFC and Spec R but not conenct the power lines or something. I am debating on the WB because it will be running rich and I don't want to screw up the sensor. Well the Fuel stuff because atleast I know that the stock stuff is working properly.

What do you think I should install?

Well you'll want the LM-1 to use the SAFC properly, it will also allow you to be sure your getting enough fuel to the engine under boost.

I would say go ahead and intall the fuel pump and re-wire also.

If you wire everything up you can leave it in the default setting, the SAFC doesn't effect fuel untill you set it to do that. I have the Apexi AVC-R and I can turn it off to leave the stock wastegate to run the show.

I myself think do all the mods now while the car is down, then they will be ready for use when it's running and you wish to start tuning. I would also recommend a bigger exhaust if you want that turbo to breath better.

I sort of have a problem, the SAFC is used so it has settings in it already, can I reset it?

So 2.5" is not big enough? I just sold my 3" DP and MP because I got rid of the dual tip/cat back, in favor of a single cat back, and the only way tomake it work is with a 2.5" dp/mp...oh well

i'd get the engine installed and running properly before adding all those extra parts. if you change everything out and the engine turns out to be running wrong, there's no telling what is causing it. just might save you a few headaches if you do them one at a time.

yeah my thoughts exactely...it's much easier to troubleshoot if you only do one thing at a time. granted it might work great, but if it doesn't, you've got a long list of things to check.

Well I may have a few problems with my TPS, BAC, or EGR...

The day it blew it was running VERY funny, the engine went into high idle, but only to 2k and fluctuated from about 1800-2300rpms. I tapped the gas and it went down to about 1k. I never had it idle lower than 950rpm. I cleaned and tested the BAC, adjusted the TPS and nothing could fix the fast idle..

I am not sure if the problems I had that day was due to the fact that I had tried to adjust the TPS, I had checeked in 3 times and each time I had to readjust it, so I am not sure If i really screwd soemthing up.. Is there a way totest it off the car?

Not to dig up a old thread, better than starting a new one

SO my car is running great, idles perfect, rev perfect etc. I am still breaking in the new engine is it altight to install the Boost contoller and SAFC II? Like I said before the SAFC was used so it is already has settings in it. Right now I am trying to figure out how or if I can reset it to factory. I have the LM-1 wired up (just to get reading so no datalogging yet)

Is it alright to wire it up while I am still breaking the car in?

yeah, shouldn't hurt anything since you AREN'T running at WOT just yet anyways. Hooking up the boost controller and SAFC II now won't yield any benefits since you shouldn't be running it hard, but like i said, it won't hurt anything. it's less you'll have to hook up later.
