Question Injector size for my application?

I am want to run 15 psi on my 7 and I'm not sure what injector size to buy for the secondaries (550cc x 4 current set up). Here is a list of the mods:

fresh rebuild ( still on break in) street port
t04 .60ar cold side / .96 hot side (not installed yet)
40mm wastegate (not installed yet)
fmic 28 x 10 x 3 (not installed yet)
walbro fp
fpr
custom 3" TID
3" downpie / 2 1/2" after Y / racing beat mufflers
rtek 1.7 (not installed yet v1.5 on at the moment)
SAFC-2

Other mods
4.30 rear diff. (not installed yet)
act hd plate w/ cc 4 puk bronze plate
hks blow off
manual rack
a/c taken off
auto meter gauges
greddy turbo timer
no air pump
20b alt w/ dual pulley
can't remember any others

I plan to use the rtek v 1.7 since I already have v1.5 and spent most of my cash on the rebuild. I plan to buy a EMS when I save some money. Please give me your advise I dont whant to buy a injector that is to small for my goals or to big for that matter.

Thanks for your help,

JP

PS> I searched,
O its a 87 TII

correct me if I am wrong but on the 1.7 you can't put an injector smaller than 720cc, it doesn't say you can't go with larger ones like 850cc or so on

i am going to suggest a wideband also, its going to be crucial. with the larger turbo and injector/fuel pump you are going to need to tune with the safc. i am running a slightly similar (t04, 550 prim, 720 sec, walbro, safc, 1.5 rtek, 3in intake, 3in turbo back, mazdaspeed clutch, safc, and wideband) and it ran really rich.

This is the problem...
We have no idea what kind of turbo this is.
"t04" is a Garrett family of turbos.
They are divided into basically the T04B and T04E sub families.
Within those sub families, there are a multitude of models.
T04B -> S-trim, V-trim, H-trim
T04E -> "46", "50", "57", "60"
Those are not even all the models available...just some of the more popular ones.

Now, we're talking about turbos that will blow enough air to produce anywhere from 200hp to 400hp at the wheels.
That's a large span!

Your fuel injectors can support 230 to 240 at the wheels safely.
This is the stock 4 x 550's.

If we're talking 400hp at the wheels, you'd need 1600's in the secondaries to have enough fuel.
850 secondaries are definitely not enough, and 1000's I would not feel safe with.

So...do you know which turbo you are running?

Do you know what the O.D. of the compressor inlet?
If it's 4", it's a TS04 cover, and it's most likely a T04E turbo.
If it's 3", it's a T04B.

Also, if you have a pair of dial calipers handy, you can try and measure the compressor wheel minor diameter.
Check my chart...

I am at work right now so I cant measure it. But its definetly not 4" on the inlet. I search on the internet and found out some info from the supplier. It says xs power on the tubine I had never heard of it but for $250 new never used I thought it was a bargain. Anyway it says on the net its a .62 trim and stage v. I have no clue what this means. Also the turbo came with a 1.15ar compresor that I changed to a airsearch q trim .96. hope this helps with identifing what I have.

I can attest that with 720 primaries and 890 secondaries, at 401 HP, my IDCs were 99%. NOT SAFE..

If you want to go over 400, might as well sack up and get 1600 secondaries.

Yep.
Do a search on "xs power" or "xs-power", and you'll get a lot of hits.

Anyway it says on the net its a .62 trim and stage v. I have no clue what this means.
I don't either, cause these dumbasses like to make up their own names for their parts.
It does not correspond to Garrett naming conventions.

Also the turbo came with a 1.15ar compresor that I changed to a airsearch q trim .96. hope this helps with identifing what I have.
That doesn't make any sense, since "q trim" implies turbine wheel, but you mention "compressor".

Sorry, but I'm not a big fan of those XS-Power turbos, so I can't tell you what kinda power it'll make.
You can try and measure the compressor major and minor wheel diameters and see where it falls on the chart?
