Injector question
ive searched the forum and looked in the FSM's and cant find the information i need.
im putting my car back together and just realized that all my S4 injectors have broken pintle caps. i have some S5 injectors that were cleaned ~20k miles ago and am going to put them in, i have the S5 connectors with quite a bit of wire at the end, so im going to splice them into the S4 wiring harness, the question is, what wires do i hook to what?? do i plug in the S4 injectors and use the wire that is going to the same terminal on the S5's?? it seems logical but i wanted to make sure. thanks

Too much trouble for what it's worth...
Break the rest of the pintle caps and throw it in the trash.
You don't need them.
It helps to have "fresh" lower grommet to help them seat better.
