ok well I've got to leave but if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. basically one of my primarie (the rear) injector's cracked the tip (plastic piece that goes into the block) so it was leaking fuel. so I put the secondaries into the primaries and vice versa. will this hurt anything? R they the same? thanks for any help. will 550 injectors make me run rich? (in the secondaries only) thanks again.

wow that was quick thanks forsakenrx7. well the above pretty much covers it. I switched them around so I wouldn't have to pull the upper manifold off again in order to replace them. I'm only going to run around tonight, the injector wasn't leaking that bad. I think Corksport is open at 9:00 or 10:00 tomorrow. haha I hope. anyways thanks again! I've spent the last month chasing a cooling issue around, and a bad wire that made my tail lights quit working. and contrary to most solutions to these problems... both were out of the ordinary. I didn't want more problems this week. you've made my night just that much better! Arigato!

With exhaust and an intake 550s in your secondaries shouldnt make you run rich. I've gotta friend who has em in his both primary and secondary on his N/A. It runs just a lil rich at idle. But he has everything but a port job and header. In your situation by switching the injectors out all you did was put your leak from your primary to your secondarys. Meaning your gonna suffer above 3800 rpm when they come on line and that injector aint functioning properly anymore. Not to mention its not very safe to be leaking gas on top of your motor. Ever seen the results of a leaking pulsation dampner?

well thanks for the warning. but I'm only driving for a night, and I think the secondaries only come on after 3800 which I'll stay below. if I left it in the primaries I'd have to not drive at all. and plus I'd have to take the manifold back off to replace them. I'm aware that I just moved the leak... but that was the point. it's much easier access to the secondaries than the primaries. and no I haven't seen the results of a leaking PSD cause I replaced mine two months ago! well it looks like I'm gonna be throwing those 550's in the secondaries... I've done just about all I can to my car (full racing beat exhause, flex--a--lite fan, pineapple sleaves, blah blah blah. and I still get smoked by anything with a turbo!! DOH!! time to save for that jspec transplant. anyone want to buy a pineapple rebuilt motor?
