Injector air bleed prob
In the process of putting the new seals on my injectors, I believe one of the air bleeds the front injector on the primary fuel rail rests on was pushed down a bit. So now that injector wont seal right. How do I get the thing back up without destroying it? Also, would this large leak from the combustion chamber cause the motor to stammer and sputter under boost? Cause thats what caused me to find the problem.

Just post a want ad in the classified section. I bought a used center housing with two of those installed, for a total cost of like $30. People will probably sell those for $10 shipped for a pair (I would if I had any left over).
And yes, if it got shoved down further than normal, something must be broken, because it has a shoulder with an O ring that seats in the rotor housing. There is no way for it to sink further into the housing unless it was not completely seated to begin with (which could have happened if you had the wrong one installed - there were two different sizes on my 87 NA engine) or if it is broken.
I would just use a home-made wire hook to pluck the thing out with. You might consider turning the Eshaft a bit so that the rotor is blocking off the intake port, in case it shatters when you take it out. That way, you could vacuum out the pieces and know that they didn't fall into the engine, because the port would be blocked by the rotor.

I guess it HAS to be broken. Cause I bought a hook pick set and worked on that lil SOB. Got it up to what I felt had to be the right point. Went to bolt the fuel rail back in, and as soon as I got the first bolt in I realized the injector was loose again. The damn air bleed had sunk back down. Its annoying cause its just sunken low enough that the injector doesnt seat right. And on my T2 its a two piece air bleed. Anyone else had this problem before?
