I'm getting NOS! and Intake/Fuel/Oil related question
Hi everyone! I've decided that I will be investing in a NOS kit for my stock n/a FC . I'm going to be getting either a K&N intake, or BOMZ intake. I heard NGK sparks are good for our car, so I'll be getting that too. I have racing beat exhaust system, and a presilencer straight flow pipe. I've tried to do as much research as possible for this nos upgrade, and have a few more questions. I have Any help would be great.
https://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda2.htm
on that link, racing beat says that Royal Purple oil increases horsepower. I am going to try it out, but do not understand the oil labels. It's like 10W/30 or something and different numbers for the types of oil. Which one is for me?
Bomz or KandN intake? Any opinions?
On a thread regarding NOS, the writer mentioned that a working, good fuel pump is needed. What brand fuel pump have you guys replaced your stock with?
I went to a shop and the guy told me that he recommended that I buy a NOS kit. I guess he told me to do that cuz the guys at the shop are more accustomed to using that brand.
Thanks for the input!

Fuel.....
What's best for the FC?
What grade fuel?
I'm supposed to run premium when I use the nitrous, but...
What about when I'm not running the nitrous?
Thanks!

I R SAD PANDA W/O BAW
1)the number on the oil is how thick the oil is basically
2)personally I am going with K&N
3)I believe most people upgrade to a walbro fuel pump (dont recall which model/#)
4)for NA fc go with the 87 octane is fine. anything else pretty much is a waste of money

Well, for one, I suggest you do a lot more research, and tell us more of what you expect out of your nitrous system.
The oil you linked is synthetic oil. I won't get into the debates, but don't expect any significant (more than 1/10th) of a HP gain from this oil. The numbers refer to its viscosity (how thick it is). The higher the number, the thicker it is. (I am just trying to dumb it down, I am ware of the technical aspects behind oil viscosity)
Intake is debatable, but most people recommend just a K&N generic cone to save yourself some money.
Walboro fuel pump is the cheapest upgrage available that easily fits. Several vendors sell at at just over $100.
Fuel grade is debatable. Its a argument of cost vs. gains. Always run premium fuel when using a form of forced induction.
