Blue GXL...thats very good. My 7 before it blew up..N/A 89GXL was getting 21 mixed. Now it gets 17 with bad injectors. Just put some new ones in so I should get around the same again.

Alignment is big:
Car & Driver reported in their long-term wrap-up of the Honda Insight that a change from 0deg toe to .25" toe-in reduced fuel economy by something like 6-7mpg...
But it also increased highway stability and turn-in response, so it's always a trade-off.
But in general, the things that affect fuel economy are:
- how clean is the air filter
- how clean is the fuel filter
- clean and properly gapped spark plugs
- age of plug wires (resistance)
- age of O2 sensor
- exhaust restrictions (e.g., a clogged pre-cat or main cat will HURT power and fuel economy)
- tire pressure 32psi is pertty standard for cars
- heavy right foot???
and to a lesser extent, the viscosity of you motor oil.

Check sig for emissions and exhaust. I have a REALLY heavy right foot, but I have tried to cool off on that, but it really makes little difference. New plugs, new wires, and an old O2 sensor, so I guess it is the culprit!!
