Is that really an RS Akimoto Intake?? I didn't know he made any for FC's.

I met Tadashi (sp?) Akimoto one time. He became paralyzed so he doesn't run the company anymore, but he still does some things for them and it's still in his name, Akimoto. My brother was selling a .357 Sig and he bought it off him. Even though he's on crutches, don't mess with him 'cause he's packing heat.

Here's a Pic of my rear engined TurboII project. It took over two years to get this far. I sure can't wait until summer! As you can see this engine didn't really want to fit in the car. Nobody has done the TurboII in this kind of car(Kelmark GT), so I had to make a lot of the stuff to make it fit.

'78 Kelmark GT(Ferrari 246 Dino look alike)
'87 TurboII
Haltech E6K
3" custom stainless exaust, racing beat premuffler,
supertrapp 3"in-4"out muffler
bosch fuel pump, Alum. fuel cell
a whole bunch of other stuff!!

You are going to have it done for MRR#2, right??

Or, do I have to dispatch Tim to help you?

Hi Revvin7,
The car is about 1800lb, Ive got about $17,000 to $18,000 total(still have to put in a roll cage, interior, new-bigger tires, heater and a bunch of little stuff), but it does run after two years of work. The car is called a Kelmark GT('78), and its a Ferrari 256 Dino look alike. There are some posts elsewhere here and on nopistons.com. This is the first Kelmark to ever get a TurboII so it took a lot of work to get it in(it kind of fills the engine compartment.) As you can see the intercooler had to be put to the side as there is about 1in. of room from the top of the engine to the deck lid.

Hi Greg,

I can use all the help I can get.

Brad Apold (the main brain behind the scene) seems to think we can get it all done and Dyno tuned LONG before the MRR. If my wallet holds out...
