Idling problem (i already searched)

When I start the car it jumps to 3k rpms for a second which i know is normal. Then while the car is started it will jump from 1500 to 1700 up and down up and down up and down until it finally warms up. Even after it warms up though if I'm at a light and am starting out as I let the clutch out and give it gas the rpms will do it to until i fully let out the clutch. What is the deal?? OH ya and thanx to the person who told me to change my fuel filter cause of a problem. IT worked!!! Any advice would help

The same thing happens to me, the idle will repeatedly surge from 1000 to 1500 until it warms up. I always thought it was a tps setting or something, ive just been to lazy to try to fix it
