![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
ok guys ive been doin some searching and have some idea of what i need to do in order to fix the problem. but my symptoms seem to vary...
ok so i just bought me an 91' s5, with 56k original miles
now some of my problems
1) on cold starts everything is fine, does the themowax warmup proccess then drops, and the idle jumps up and down from 1500 to 1000, so i drive it around and then the idle is fine...at 750.. i dont get it! but...it often stalls out when i come to a complete stop, or it almost does ( all the interior lights start to dim)
2) car is constantlly flooded, i have to give it throttle in order for it to turn...
im sorry if i sound like a totall noob! thanks in advance!

I second what Funk said. You have to make sure the TPS is set correctly. Also go through the idle speed setup where you ground the initial set connector. The dashpot is supposed to be a dampener when you let off the throttle like at a stop light. You might also want to check its function. Also, check the function of the BAC. It has a lot to do with good idle.
