Idle Problems

(RX-7 1988 non-turbo/conv)
I just recently got my car started by changing the spark plugs...I bought it from someone that couldn't get it started...

It will not hold an Idle... but as long as i am giving the gas then it stays running.. Could someone point me in the right direction to resolving this issue?thank you...
