idle lopes when electical load

Need help!!!! have 91 rx7 the car has an idle problem, when i turn on my headlights and press the brake at warm idle the idle starts to lope and doesn't stop. The rx idles perfect with NO major electrical loads on the system, but as soon as an load is placed on it the rpm usually drop to about 400 rpm and up to around 750 and continue to do this. I adjusted tps, removed bac valve and checked resistance, being in spec, and the solenoid clicks with 12v apllied. I adjusted idle set screw on top of throttle body but still this problem still occurs..... car starts up great and runs fine through rpm range other than this loping idle when car has electical load on it. I checked for codes, no codes in computer... disconected battery many a times to reset everything... still have problem....i hope there is someone that can help....

clean the bac. Normaly the bac injects air when the accessory load goes up (ac or electrical, ect).

After that I would readjust your mixture screw/throttle stop.

I have a similar problem, however my BAC works when I turn the AC on. It does not work when I put my lights on. I will try to adjust the screw though.

is there any way to check to see if the pcm is sending the right signal to bac valve upon electrical load....or is there a code that would set for electonic load detector????

There are testing procedures for the BAC in the Haynes and factory manuals. The BAC is mostly responsible for idle control. The ASV is used when power steering is loading the engine.

If you measure the connector at the BAC valve, you should see a square wave whose frequency varies based on the amount of idle compensation the ECU wants.

There is also an idle troubleshooting page at http://www.teamfc3s.org . There is a transistor (MOSFET?) in the ECU which can burn out and cause the symptoms you are seeing.
