Idle Issues

I have looked in the archives and I haven't come up with a clear explanation for why my car is doing this. When the car is cold and I turn it on it goes to 2700 rpms and then gradually as the car warms up goes to 1350 rpm and idles arounds there. But for a '87 TII it shouldn't have the cold start operation right? I have replaced all the vaccum hosing, air hoses, coolant hose, and the engine has just over 4500 miles on it. I recently replaced the wax idle thing, with a brand new one, and the BAC is turned to almost closed any ideas?
Thanks,
Sam

You most likely have an intake leak... you can use a garden hose or can of brake clean and spray around the throttle body and intake manifold... when the idle changes is the approximate location of the leak
