Idiot's guide to RX-7's?

As long as the compression test turns out okay it looks like I'll be picking up an 88 N/A. Now, I need info! I need to know what to do and what not to do. This is my first car, I wanna baby it. Any good sites, or any good general advice/info, please post. I'm going to pick up a new set of tires and then leave her stock, atleast for a little while. I've been spending every minute I can spare trying to learn as much as I can but I need more info on general maintenance.

Oh and what should the compression be?

Any help is appreciated.

Where are you getting the compression tested at? Mazda, or a local mechanic?

The best source I have found for technical advice is the Factory Service Manual. Someone at FC3S.org was kind enough to post it on the net so everyone could use it. Id like to personally shake that persons hand. I am at work, and I dont have the link, but its at www.fc3s.org. There arent any idiots guides, I checked for books at the bookstore, and they are all out of print. Only thing you can get is the Haynes manual, which is marginally helpful, but the FSM is better. Looks like RX-7 maintenance is becoming a lost art.....

Get the full 60K mile service/full tuneup, TPS around 85K miles, check for any air intake leaks, upgrade the exaust at 85K miles (downpipe, performance cat, catback exhaust), switch to redline synthetic in the transmission & rear differential, use standard 10W30 in the engine.

That should keep her running really good.
