Idiot light clock fix EASY
im sure that majority of yall have probs with the clock
i found that if you just take it apart, the 4? points directly behind the clock, just need cleaning...grab a rag and rub off the points cleany and then hook it back up and it should light up...hey its worth a try, easy takes about 5 minutes....it worked for me...ERic

Fixed my clock awhile back, was going dim, or out, whatever it wanted to do. I performed the same disassembly as Eric, got to looking at those same solder joints with a magnifying glass, and found tiny cracks around the conductor. These are known as "cold" joints. They generally occur because of a poor solder procedure, and can be helped along over the years by vibration.
Anyhow, resoldering these joints with an iron suitable for circuit boards and reassembly did the trick.
Hope this is a help.
