Can you please help identify this 13b serpentine belt kit?
Came off a t2 engine I got from a buddy that sat since ~2008. Engine was rebuilt by lucky 7 racing ~ 2005-2007.
Long story short, sold the engine to a buddy who just put new seals in it and we’re trying to get the timing correct to do some trouble shooting. These timing marks were indented, and we marked them with a white paint pen.
We want to identify the timing marks to find tdc. He has done another method by aligning apex seals to spark plug ports but we want to verify.
I’ve been reading up on other methods to verify tdc in the meantime.
long story short we were guessing with the timing marks so had issues getting it to stay running after 5 seconds of firing up. Verified center mark was Tdc by checking front apex seal at leading spark plug hole and it fired right up no problem.
next step is to measure diameter to compare to stock pulley to see if it’s an under drive pulley.
seems to be an older archaic design which didn’t allow for the power steering, smog pump and a/c which was probably ditched once other companies allowed for accessory v-belts to be added. Looked at google images, even Japanese companies such as Supernow to find this pulley’s brand but still no luck.
for now, I’m not worried too much about finding the brand but it would be nice to identify what the timing mark intervals are to check CAS timing advance/retardation.
