So I spoke to a guy today who works fixes rotaries in my area and needless to say I don't think i would trust anyone in my area to work on my car, lol. He suggested to put warm 7up or sprite in the the throttle body saying it would clean the injectors and get the car running.....I don't think i would wanna put 7up in my engine....

Wow, that guy is either a complete moron or doesn't like you. Either way, don't take your car to him, lol.

Robitussin might fix you..."fix" to the point where your car becomes irrelevant.

You will just foul them up.... and need new ones. After all this is hopefully fixed, you should change the oil as well.

Now this is a story all about how...

It's been 4 days, any progress on your ECU? There is apparently an S4 NA near me at a salvage yard i'll go look at. If it has the ECU i'll grab it for you, no guarantees tho, this may be the reason it ended up there <.<

Your hesitant starting then cranking and repeat reminds me of when I had my AFM connected, but my intake hose was disconnected at the intake manifold (thanks to some guy who thought he knew what he was doing and then failed to mention he did something)

Can completely understand your frustration. I paid for my car, and the guy was supposed to bring it to the tag agency but the fuel pump died, he left the keys with his friend and ran off. Leaving me with an Rx7 with a busted fuel pump, and a 50amp main fuse where an 80 belongs.

You just have to be able to be patient, and you MUST have the constitution to fix it. I'm contemplating selling mine (Blown oil rings, if not MORE), or building it back up, and being more cautious.

You just have to know what you're doing.

You updated every hour or so, it's been 4 days, I hope you haven't gone on a rampage or something. Hold in there!

I have someone on the site being nice enough to send me the ecu. He said he was shipping it out today. I really hope this solves the problem because I hve a job to get to in another city and if I can get to it then I won't be able to make rent

ladies and gentleman we have identified the problem. There is no signal going to the injectors, I repeat, there is no signal going to the injectors. I had a mechanic who lives by me take a quick look and he was able to tell me the ecu is not communicating with the injectors

lmao, he said it might even be a fuse and not exactly the ecu, could that be a possibility?

While I wait for the ECU to come in, is there anything else that may cause the injectors to not get signal? He mentioned some sensors that can do that, i want to make sure because the car needs to get running by monday

Haven't you already checked every fuse within a mile of your car?
You could ohm out the wiring between the ECU and the injectors, make sure it's not just a bad harness.

Or, you could just install another ECU.

I will be installing another ecu, and hopefully its in the mail on its way already. But if the harness like you said is bad it wont make a difference now will it?

Nope.
Which is maybe why you should check it first.

Have you checked the injector clips? I had mine completely rot off one day on my old N/A... baffled me for weeks until I checked them.

You're only checking for continuity, so use your new multimeter to make sure none of the wires are broken.
