I don't understand the 8psi. If the RB turbo back is there I would have thought the boost would already be in the teens. I'm not saying it isn't. I know very little about turbos. Just asking.

Doesn't RB say its full exhaust setup will run about 10-11 PSI?
I don't know about 220whp but my car is running 7-8 PSI and no where near those numbers. I would estimate about ~165-175whp is what I'm making.

how is he doing it? three characters: E6K.
everybody knows the stock engine management sucks on these cars when you have any mods at all. A good tune can make the difference.
Or maybe he's just forgetting to tell us about the 50 shot :P
somebody needs to take a stock TII and haltechify it, just to see what the difference is before and after. Completely stock, I mean.

You also have a S4. They seem to not make as much power as S5's
And yes. It was only 8~9(max)psi. Their site does say that it will raise it to 10-11 but I could only get that on super cold winter nights. When I dynoed, it was only at 8-9.
No 50 shot

Not bad, Adam. My friend Hassan made 270/270 at 11psi of boost w/ stock turbo, stock S4 type motor, but with a GReddy V-SPL intercooler.
220 at 8psi isn't too bad

Oh, for the other post above, I'm running a Microtech LT8. Its set on the rich side though. But I'll agree, compared to a mildy modified TII that I drove with stock ECU, the aftermarket EMS is much much better.

Yeah, that was on the stock TMIC along with a bag of ice
It was also before the Haltech was put on. Just had an S-AFC back then.

a stock ecu turbo II will make 220rwhp at 10psi with intake / exhuast. so with the ek6 at 8psi I belive the 220.
I don't know if you are gona make too much more at 15. probably less then 300.
with a to4 and ported engine. you'll make around 330RWHP at 8psi

Post count is over rated
on a stock s4 j spec, with full exhaust, factory ecu, with a walbro amd rising rate fpr(set at static 40 psi)we made 274whp at the Pettit BBQ. got the dyno sheets and video to prove it.o also at 15 psi.

15psi is far too much for the stock turbo. You'll be adding more heat than power, particularly if you're still using the stock IC, and you'll be overspeeding the turbo. You'll need buckets of fuel to cool the air/fuel mix enugh to prevent detonation. I wouldn't advise going past 12psi, 10 would be safer.

As for overspinning it; yeah...It probably is. But Im looking for a good reason to upgrade my turbo anyways
I dont know exactly how much fuel is being consumed...but my plugs show no sign of running lean and Ive heard no audible knock over the past week or two that Ive been running the car this way.

As for the knock, like I said, Im pretty sure I have none. My plugs show no sign of a lean condition, or knock itself, and my rear bumper tells me Im running plenty rich.
