I thought the 88 GTU was just the sport?
and then in 89-90 the GTU was the base.

A little late...

A GTUs is a fancy name for 16" wheels and a 4.3 diff repackaged 86-87 Sport package or 88 GTU.

I love GTUs cars but they aren't really faster or better than a 86-87 sport or 88 GTU.

GTUs are heavier than the sports or the 88 GTU.
