KS i just dont knowww ???

ok, well i woke up one morning went into my car to warm it up..and theres just no power any more. ofcourse thinking my battery is just dead i try to use some jumper cables n jump it with my my mom's car. thinking it was ok i start it up again n still no start? its trying to turn over n i hear it wanting to but it just isnt. so thinking to myself would could it be. first i thought it would be the alternator but i crossed that one out. then thikning in depth maybe it could be the Coil's? due to the fact im not getting any spark. am i correct? i just dont know i checked all the fuses n still in great shape..

so here is the low down..my car just doesnt have any more power. like its all drained out. when its getting jumped n i take off the cables the power still goes away.. what should i do?...my parents r trying to make me sell my rx7 n get a civic...but i just canttt, i love my rx7. helpppp meeeeh

so your saying that when you jump it itll start but when you take the cables off the car dies?
thats the alternator. sounds like it drained your battery also, so i would look into getting it tested and charged.

sorry for the misunderstanding...what io meant was when it ry to jump it...power is going through the car but it just wont start. it'll try to start but it just wont. n when i take off the cables all the power is gone.

then that sounds like a bad battery and/or bad connection to the battery cables.
get the battery charged and tested. and clean up the terminals and cable ends.

as far as i can understand you, the car is also not starting because no spark? that is probably a different problem.

try to get someone to help you do a push start. works great and all the time for me, then diagnos it.

i'm thinking your car is getting too much fuel and its flooding the car. do you see smoke coming out the rear? pull out the EGI fuse in the engine compartment and crank your car for 10 secs with the gas pedal down, put it back in and crank it, see if it'll crank over. if you hear the car about to turn over, add a little gas to see if it catches and turns over.

if all fails, compression test.

I had the same problem. Turned out my positive terminal had gone to ****. Invest in new ones, brass ones are fine. Like 3 bucks each.
