No matter how you slice it, the FC looks far worse with flush lights than with the popups. The car simply does not have the lines to pull off the flush look properly. The only conversion that comes close is the FC2000 front end, and its really not that great looking... There are half popup conversions available(not talking about the ebay halo crap) Need-a-t2 made a pretty nice kit with custom control arms that raise the lights about 50-60% the height of the stock lights. Yeah I know they are still popups but they look a helluvalot better than the stock popups.

Just the other weekend I installed some Hella 90mm Bi-xenons using the stock brackets as a base. They shone through the FTP holes and the Hella cutoff was perfect, with no interference with the bumper. They were bright as hell and looked sick....unfortunatly ~30mins after I had them installed and aimed I destroyed the front end on a guardrail. So, no pics installed.

Cordius thats your opinion, many people here admire the FC2000 fascia and headlight conversion. Or what about the other headlight conversions which RE-Amemiya uses on other FCs.
Who really cares about lighting configuration? Change it if it bunches your undies.

Don't worry. I should have them redone in a few months. Gotta save up money for those puppies.

I think the pop-ups look good. Its the styling of the car. It's too hard to make those squares look good as a flush light. But, thats just my opinion. I do like the fc2000 bumper though.

Oh yeah, it was definatly worth it. I think next time I'll even try to get the shutter to work so I can have high beams...which would be entirely unecessary.

The FC is too square-ish to pull off recessed lights unless you get the perfect match and so far I don't see any.

Someone go design a new kit.
