I had too much heat under hood and now theres a hole in it??

Hahaha, well i have had some issues with under hood temps that were getting into the interior that was like a easy bake oven since i went to a turbo setup and so decided to make a vent in the hood. Heres some pics hope you like, sorry for the blingingness of the aluminum.

You would get better airflow if you designed it better... It's looking super nice though. Common physics will help you make temps lower! It's not all about looks

wasn't built for looks and does a damn good job of getting the heat out, thats all it was designed for.

well i'm not going to argue but yeah the flow probally could have been done better but with the small area i had to work with and the fact that i just wanted it to leave in the section where the scoop was on the hood was a factor.

And im not trying to argue either =D I think it looks awesome. Make a carbon fibre prototype, and i will probably buy one.

yeah there will be a prototype one with a smoother flows and maybe a slight bit bigger hole, its hard to get it bigger than it is now.

Wouldn't the warm air go into the hood scoop for the intercooler?

coolant temps didn't change much, before driving around they would be about 1/8th up the gauge, and at idle aboiut 1/4 up the gauge, now it sits 1/8 up all the time.
