Talking i got my new(kinda) 86 rx-7 :0)

last night i got my rx-7 towed from the dealership to my friends house. so this weekend hopefully i can start tearing it apart. it doesnt run but the body is in great shape. it i s a baby blue color. the guy who had it before me put a turbo II rearend with the turbo II rims in the rear. i am looking forward to working on this car and learning about rotarys.. just thought id let you know...

Glad to hear it. That car should make for an interesting project. If you already have a partial T2 transplant, and an already dead motor, you might as well go ahead and do the full T2 swap.

yeah, i am kinda exited about it. this is my first sports car. i had all slow grocery getter cars before this.... do you guys think my rex will make a good road trip car too???

Just don't make the suspension to stiff .

Yeah sounds like a fun car. Big difference between a grocery fetcher & worldclass sports car
