Angry I got my new engine in BUT, its not quite right.. help?

Arright fellas, i got my J spec in (junk yard spec..hehe )
and i got it all hooked up and everything today, BUT, its running like ***. its skipping and misfiring, high RPMs seems like hell. I checked and rechecked the timing, i checked all the vac lines, i labled the harness and took pictures as i was taking it apart, so im sure its all conected correctly, i just dont know what to test. My TPS is adjusted correctly, the CAS is at the stock location and the timing is correctly. I checked the compression after i got done messing with it for the night, and its fine too. Im just lost. The only think i can think of is ECU or the injectors maybe. Anyways guys any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Injectors sound like a good idea. Have you also checked voltage to the fuel pump? And is the fuel filter new? Spark okay all around?

If the engine is physically okay and everything's lined up, maybe it's time to go after voltage...

HEY!!!!

Hello Roy.

I am in Lawrenceville GA.
I beleive we have spoken before about this very project.

I would like to help.
Please PM me, or call me if you still have the number.

I think we can solve this problem in one day.
unfortunately, im so drugged up on allergy mediceine that I dont want to get technical now.

I would mess that up.

Im thinking:
- Mass airflow sensor is not hooked up
-Hidden Vaccum leak (Intake to throttle body not tight to TB?

Check your engine codes.

Its not the ECU.

Roy,

IF Sniper doesnt get with you on this and you feel like it youre welcome to bring her up here and give me a shot at it, Im sure it'll be quick work. Ask detriuch, who is also on here form auguasta, I did his 88 SE about a week ago and he was happy with it. Now a couple of his friends from there are talking about bringing their FC's up here for alot of work.
