I don't know how my car is still running...
I have been having really strange issues lately and I think I have it pinned down.
My car runs like total **** in the morning, and idles like ****, intermittantly when at operating temperature. Thats basically the jist of it.
I checked my ecu codes today and I have a code 12 and 18.
Narrow and full range TPS.
Amazing thing is, my cars runs good except right in the morning when I first start it, it tries to flood, and sometimes at idle it runs too rich.
I tested both TPS and the full range starts at 0.61 kohms jumps to 4k then to 15k then to 33k and back down to 6k. Wild. And that testing the pins per FSM instructions and engine fully warm.
My narrow range is almost perfect except for one spot right before it extends as far as it can go it spiked to 12kohms then went to normal again.
I tried to use contact cleaner (the plastic safe kind) and that didnt work.
Any other options? Also, how the hell is my car able to drive "almost" perfectly with such variance in TPS resistance?
Oh and one other thing....anyone got a TPS for sale cheap?

I found a cheap turbo one that I am going to put onto the N/A bracket. I posted another thread asking if that was possible and I noticed it was just held on by tabs so I ordered one up.
