Yea that will work . I think the pressure needed is 2 or 3 pounds tops .. Some time back like a year or two TROCHOID or what ever he might have changed his name to informed me to do just that except yea you need to change the shitty hose or it will turn into a blob of poo . What you might need to do if anything is to remove pipe put a radical bend in it so it is facing into the exhaust flow weld back in and you are set .

In his profile he states he has a 88 vert so it would need pressure wouldn't it ? Just pull the hose and push something small into the pipe you should be able to tell weather it has a curve inside the exhaust pipe or not .

you can T a boost/pressure gauge into the 6 port vacuum line and see if it works or not.

I once got a car with a welded together exhaust. The previous owner must have thought that the 6th port actuating pipe was emissions equipment and just tac welded it to the surface for looks.
And yeah its one piece as well. Life's little challenges. .

Keeps it interesting I guess. Picked up my RB system today! Prob get my brother to help remove that crap - watched him move a 700 lb safe once, by himself and down some stairs
