Mods: BIGGEST streetport they could do, and 9.7:1 rotors

I agree w/ Scott above
In addition to ported wastegates my '89+ 60-1 hybrid was bored for T4 "O" trim exhaust wheel clipped 15 degrees- much more free flowing than stock exhaust side.
BOOST CREEP to ~22psi by 3,500rpm (low comp rotors)
Glad my pop off valve saved engine.
I went nutty on stock WGs porting them to max and externally venting them out backplate w/ 2 1/4" hole, maximizing flapper throw etc.
"Only" creeping to ~17psi (warm day) total now.
I am currently adding a HKS 60mm external WG now (43% bigger area than bored holes I have now).
Save your engine and put a "real" turbo on it- I will soon, I just have to see what HP I can make of "stock" turbo.

oh plus im going to modify the wastegate arm move were the rod connects to closer to the pivot point so i get more movement and also make the wastegate exhaust gases divorced like a previous member did... hopefully with the wastegate opening twice as much and having its own vent will realive all the pressure and keep my boost below 10psi

Pics of it adapted to 60mm WG in this thread. Still boost creeps . I think it goes back to Bryan for more clip or "P" trim wheel.

Yes, that exhaust should help keep boost creep in check- as well as a spool-up and power...
The pencil pipe exhaust is not staying on is it? I can't fathom why you would do a large streeport, dangerous high compression, a larger compressor and choke it out w/ a puny exhaust.
