I can't believe I have to ask this....

Do you have to remove the manifold to remove the aux sleeves? I want to get the pineapple inserts, but I don't want to remove the manifold and face the vacuum nightmare

yeah....you can use a magical wand and they will appear in your hands.... :-)

no bro...the only way to take out the 5th and 6th port sleeves is to take off the upper and lower intake manifold. The sleeves are located in the housing where the lower manifold meets the block

A heat gun or strong hair dryer will help loosen up the old gasket material and really speed up the job. You want to have all of the needed gaskets to put back on also; do not use the old ones. This would also be a good time to replace your old cracked vacuum hoses.
