I am starting to think the 7 is dead (searched)

Well here was the initial issue, During driving on my way home from work I decide to have a little fun and accelerate in first to 7k. Well, as soon as 7k is hit I heard a loud *** banging sound and my car starts running like absolute hell.

Symptoms:

Violent drivetrain shaking at idle
Bogging badly at idle (in order for me to get it moving I need to launch is at 4k)
Backfiring
Hard starts

So my first conclusion was that it was maybe my leading coil pack not firing on one rotor since my car does not smoke, oil pressure is fine, and idles at 1k like usual

So I do a test on my ignition coil by grounding the leading plugs on both rotors and
I see no spark.

I also take do a compression check by ear while one plug is out each time. The first
rotor sounds fine, loud, steady whooshes. The second rotor however sounded much weaker and seemed very faint, so I guess my question is, am I screwed?

I did a compression check again by ear, since I don't have a checker, on the rear after letting it reach operating temperature in hopes that it was just low because of flooding, but still about the same. So do you guys think I should make a part out list? Or would I maybe get a different result if I checked the trailing plugs instead?

Based on your poor man's compression test results, I'd say it needs an engine. If you have an assistant, or a remote starter wire in the enginebay, you can actually put your thumb right beside each plughole (remove both lower plugs at the same time) and compare results...it will be OBVIOUS if one is not doing anything while the other is pushing your thumb 2-3 inches away with each pulse.

I wouldnt part out a turbo II, I'd rebuild it. There are supposed to be some good rotary guys out your way. IF you're on a budget I can do the work for under 2 grand.

Haha I got my compression test idea from your site actually, AZRR is highly reputable down here, but I am on a serious budget, sadly this was my daily driver so now I have to contemplate everything from a new job to potentially a new car... I thought you were not accepting rebuilds until March?

Going by what is on the site, that was march of this year...I just havent been able to update it yet. The way the web design guy has the site set up, each page in the whole site (hundreds of pages) has a "status" box. For whatever reason, he decided to make each box individual of the others...so updating the box on one page does not update them on the rest. I have no idea how I am supposed to change the dates with it set up this way. For the time being I can't do anything about it.

I am taking any and all work right now...in fact work is dead. I have one engine prepped to assemble tomorrow, and after that I am all out of work.
