Do you have link that shows where all the grounds are located because a few weeks ago my car wouldnt start at all nothing it was just dead and my dad tapped the starter and it started right up . But when he was down there he said some wires seemed to be loose . I just remembered this . Ever since he did that its been doin what we have been talkin about here . I plan on getting the new injectors ordered tommorow and a UIM gasket just incase . So should be fun when it all gets here and my car can get back to normal again .
Oh and umm for some reason I can't open up the files on the FSM link you left cuz my reader is sucking .
Thanx for all your help so far ive learned alot im glad I joined this site

What your Dad saw probably wasn't ground wires, but you should still read this anyway:
http://aaroncake.net/RX-7/grounding.htm
The main engine ground that goes straight to the battery is held on by the starter motor's top mounting bolt. It's a long bolt with a nut on the end, and the ground lug is under the nut. Make sure it's clean and tight.
Go to www.adobe.com and download the lastest version of Reader.
You'll have to ask the supplier about those injectors.

....what about the venturi effect or whatever its called, you know when the air around the back gets pressurized or creates a vaccum or something and the air ends up coming back into the cabin.....

I was specifically talking about when the ECU is in closed-loop, i.e. the car is moving at speed. How's it going to come back into the cabin then? Where's it going to get in?

i think i remeber aaron talking about this, its like a vaccum effect that keeps some of the exhaust mixed with air hanging right t the back of your car at speed, and becasue our cars are notorious for out hatch seals and other tail seals being bad and what not, the air then gets back in, im not positive either, this is all just from memory, so i could be wrong

Well I know my seals are not bad I meant that I could smell it when coming up to a stop or starting to go the wind will come up and catch it and blow it in the drivers window . I dont smell it when at speed .

That's exactly what I was getting at. A rich idle mixture is common, and not necessarily an indication of problems. The O2 sensor isn't used at idle, so replacing it won't have any effect on this smell, which is what I said at the beginning.

Okay I put all 4 brand new stock injectors on the car . I made sure everything was back together correctly . I went to start the car it started had to ajust the idle speed screw found one vacume line that i missed put it back on the car ran great so I took it for a spin to see if it had cleared up . Well no it did not clear up it is still bogging at 3800 . Now my starter is going pretty bad I dunno if that would cause it prolly not I dunno . The TPS is brand new to ive read a few place's that can cause it to bog but its brand new . I did check all the grounds they seem fine but im worried about the starter and its causing me to think that the ground on it is still causing it to hesitate . I dunno guys let me know thanx

So yesterday everything was running great . Today I drive to work and it smell like hella gas . I open the hood yeah the primary injectors or leaking like a SIV so we took the UIM off and checked out the primarys well one of them the seal on the top was broke off don't know how that happened but okay . So I replaced the upper seals on the injectors and placed them back in there hole and tightend everything down . Finally got everything back together and started the car everything seemed fine then I looked under the car yeah yet again it starts leakin like crazy drippage so we towed it home . I don't know what am I doing wrong why do they keep leaking like that the secondarys are not leaking why the primarys . Yet again what is goin on here I could swear to the man upstairs that they are in there tight and should not leak at all HELP !!

Are you sure they're the right injectors? Are they physically identical to the ones you took out? I can't see how the correct injectors with new o-rings could leak if the rail's bolted down properly. Do you have the plastic spacer between the engine and fuel rail?

So I as outside tryin to fix the problem and I noticed that the old injectors have a diffrent kinda seal on the bottom they were the old primarys by the way these old seals had like a ring inside them . I think I read somthing about how the primarys have to have this kinda seal on the bottom of the injector or they will leak . I also check all the hose's over and over again just incase . Anyway let me know if that is true about the seals thanx.

Have you done anything with the ground wires at the ECU?

It hits 3800 and you just feel it bog like a jerk you know . Now if you hold it there the tac will move very slowly up but you wont gain anyspeed . I havent done anything with the ground directly at the ECU only the engine ground . I wish I had a cam then I could just post it on here heh . If I am sitting at idle and rev it it will go above 3800 just fine its just when at speed . Do you have a link on grounding at the ECU ?

That sounds like a secondary injector not firing at all. Make sure the secondary injector connectors are both clean and secure, and the pins inside are making good contact with the injector. Do a continuity test on the injector wires, from the connectors to the ECU.
I posted info on the ECU ground wires here. This doesn't sound like a ground problem to me though.
