Very cool project... I have a similar project going right now as well https://www.rx7club.com/rotary-car-performance-77/13b-re-swap-my-fc-543953/.

I used the Front cover from the RE and a water pump housing from an S4 NA so i could use the stock radiator hoses.

I also blocked off the OMP in favor of premix for now.

The rear oil cooler line (wasn't included on my motor) and was kind of a PITA, but I had it custom made by a local hose shop

I just did this swap recently...

as for the front cover, i just took out the water pump from the s5 and swapped out the pulleys from the s5. make sure you line up the timing marks!

I'd start thinking making up a throttle cable bracket once you get the motor in. Mine was created for a T2 cable.

I just got this completed and dyno'd finally last Friday. I've got a ported BRE with a GT35R turbo, FMIC and AEM stand alone.

It runs fantastic and I got 390 hp at the wheels with a very conservative tune. I've got an SPAL fan that pushes 3500 CFM and a dual pass Koyo radiator, however while doing some heavy spirited driving, I'm getting water temps up to 220+.

Is this normal? It's seems to be running pretty hot given what I've got for cooling. I'm currently researching ways to keep the temps under better control.

For the OP, did the BRE come with the stock power steering pump? There are issues that need to be addressed for those that have adapted the BRE power steering to work. I went with no power steering. There were a few custom things that I had to get made to make this work, however mechanically getting it all together was pretty easy.

For motor mounts Banzai racing makes some that I hear work pretty well.
