Just wonderin, I just love the way they look with the headlights and all, and the 7 and the 300 resemble each other from the side so damn much. I just love there headlights and its alot to convert the 7 over, not to crazy about there looks from the rear point of view though. Nor am I too crazy about going pist-on again. But there is something about those cars that makes me turn my head everytime I see them.

I always turn my head to laugh at how far their rear wheels toe in under accelleration. It look ridiculous.

I know the FC does it a little, but nowhere near as much as a Z car.

trade your N/A in for some cash, and then in for a turboII, and watch how many 300ZX boys turn around everytime they see you!.. hehe

I think the 300z looks like ***. But thats my opinion. And why would you want the non-turbo model?

I think the newest style looks okay. Their interiors are a lot nicer than our cars. If it was comfort, I'd pick the Z.

YOU DON'T WANT A NISSAN.

From my experience, 300Zs and just plain Nissans in general are a pain in the butt to work on. Nissan seems to build their cars so you have to pull the engines to make even the simplest of repairs (of course there may be some exceptions with a few of their models, but not on the ones I have worked on). On top of that, Nissan's parts are even more expensive than Mazda (unless things have changed in the past couple of years).

Luckily for us, our V6's are damn durible, and we never have to do work to them!

I love my Z, it is however a Turbo, so that makes a difference! I myself would probably never buy a N/A car again. Not after feeling the joy of boost.

Do what YOU want to do man. It's your car, not theirs.

Hey Slaguod he is just as welcome here as you.

Quiet you...I never asked for you to run your mouth off at me.

Thanks for the welcome RX7Boy. I'm just saying I'm happy with my piston powered V6. I still like RX-7's though. I'd like to get a 1st Gen soemtime. I just wanted to stand up and mention that Nissan happens to build high quality vehicles, and seeing a VG30E (300ZX Engine) last 200,000mi isn't uncommon.

I don't think BOOSTED-300Z posted anything even remotely out of line... but YOU are out of line.

It depends on your teaste. Also, its your money so its your decision. Don't forget that yoou are in a RX forum. You will get a different side if you go to the Z forum...

I personally think that the Fairlady is one of the most sexy car ever built. If money is not an issue and one of these two cars are my only option, then I would go w/ the LadyZ. But real life is not just about these two n/a cars and money is always a factor. I prefer my TII over the Z (including 300Z-TT). Although I still think the Z is sexier than my FC, just my opinion. Weight is another story. By the way, my friend has a '95 turbo Z that I ride in all the time. He appreciates my ride as much as I do w/ his...

n/a Z 0-60: most magazines have the car in low to mid 7's.

Jay

OOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKK

I have owned a Z31 (84-89 300zx)

KEEP YOUR RX7, the Z's are boats, I put new shocks and struts in mine and it still doesnt handle as good as my rx7 that has 126k on the stock shocks. Stock for stock the rx7 is a little faster from what I remember but it depends on driver skill, Z's have almost as much torque as a turbo II and they can lauch hard on a roll. With the Z you have a bulletproof car, unless it has the digital dash, those are just about the only thing to go bad other than timing belts. You should check out www.z31.com or 300zxforum.com

Well, the Twin Turbo Z will do a 1/4mi in 13.8-14.1 depending on the driver. So compare that to whatever a TII will run, and you decided.

BTW, just for the record, I'm a Mod over at 300ZXForum.com and your all welcome to go and post there. It's still relativly new, so the traffic is always great. Just don't be a burden!

well thats false, cause dude u do not have to take the eng out to work on it!. and its not hard to work on @ all, i do all my work myself. so plz rephrase,

felix Wankel:
the reason why the Z's do that is because or worn shocks and Springs. the way u fix that is get new sway bars, Stiffer springs and some heavy duty shocks, and another thing if u come up here and see this 3z squat most likly u'll be seeing it from the back cause im sure it will beat ur cars *** hardee har ******* har

Xentin:

dude i have a 85' turbo and its modded, and im putting down damn near 50hp if not more thanx stock, and i run high 13's. and its a boat eh?

The Ace:

depending on what hes looking for he may not be stupid, yes Rex's handle better, yes there lighlter, and Yes some may even look better, but i can tell u this I redline my car all the ******* time and she has about 148K on here and shes still pulling strong with the mods and the turbo is doing very well, let me see u do that in a Rotory.

Itsnicetoburnrice:

it all depends on what ur looking for, ido what u want dude, its ur choice, and if u have any more Q's feel free to ask.

stock for stock the TII may when because of the weight, but if a a stock TII races a lighly modded z31(mods will make up for the weight) the 3z will when.

300z are beastly cars and yes the do look sweet. BUTTTTTTTT!!!!!! I am pretty sure about this. If Nissans sales do not pick up soon, there is rumor of them pulling out of the country, and well that would make the Z valuable but the part would sky rocket. So be prepared to face that reality if you own a Z. Personally i think the Z's are beautiful cars but hey not better than a seven.

I had an 86 NA 2+2. The cars just don't handle as good as the FC straight out of the box. I had the notorious '*** squat' even after I went to brand new kgx's all around. The turbo's are a different matter, I'd get one and mod the **** out of it.

If I remember right the 84-85 turbos were the lightest, the 3z1.5's 87-89's were really heavy and they weighed more than my 2+2. Thus in my mind making them boatish

What are you talking about Revin? The last I checked, Nissan Motors profitted over a billion $ last quarter. Nissan mother company (Renault) is doing pretty good (as least compared to Ford) too. On the other hand, Mazda has always been in financial trouble. Now, Ford just lost more billion $ (something like $4.5 bil) and will layoff around 35,000 people. I think Mazda will pull out of the US market before Nissan will.

ItsNiceToBurnRice,
To clear things up...what year is the 300Z?
