I am not familiar with the JET chip, do you have a link to it or something of that sort?

The guy that deisnged the rtek7 chip, Henrik, seems to be very knowledgable. This chip is just the beginning of his productions, he put this chip out to raise funds for more advanced programs and such.

I am personally just waiting for some extra cash to get the rtek7 chip, so I give it my approval.
Let's just say, I would buy that over a FCD any day of the week.

the jet chip re-programs fuel and timing tables so that they are more agressive. the Rtek7 re-programing as of right now just adds some features and removes others in the ECU code, not as performance driven as the Jet chip re-program.......at least not of right now....right Henrik?

I installed the rtek7 into a customers car with a rebuild. Since it was being broken in I didnt try the FCD function. All emissions and idle controls were removed, so the AWS code removal was irrelevant. However, the fuel cut on cranking (anti flood) function worked great! Rebuilds flood consistently when first started for a few hundred miles, so this is an excellent resource for s4 cars.

For the hundred bucks I give it my thumbs up. Cant wait to see his next releases. Fuel reprogramming will be nice...

I have the rtek chip and I installed it myself in my 88AE, All I have to say is that it is super clean, very easy to install, instructions are very user freindly and it performed exactly like it says it does. I even intentionally flooded the car so that I could try the unflood procedure and it all work perfectly! For that kind of money you can't complain! Very happy with it and would recommend this to everyone!

Guys its only only $75.00 for the self install and like $4.00 for shipping It even comes with 2 sockets so that if later you want to switch it back to stock all you half to do is simply unplug the chips and put your old ones back in, No resoldering except for the jumper and that is only 2 small solders! This really was money well spent in my opinion!
