Royal Purple claims it's good for 12000 miles, this is a
Synthetic Oil.
I plan on changing it at 6000 mile the first time and then
thereafter every 9000 miles. One thing I have noticed is with
the Castrol 20-50W, I was using a QT every 1000 miles.
With the Royal Purple, after 2000 miles it still reads full
on the dipstick. I assume this synthetic oil is not burning
at the rate the normal oil did.

Okay well regardless of what TYPE of oil it is.. your oil injection still pumps it into the rotor housing at the same rate. If oil is not being used then you have a problem with your OMP and should start running premix immediatley.
Basicly what you are saying is akin to "I don't drink as much water when the drinking fountain is broken."
As a side note.. when I started running MMO in the engine my oil injectors quit working as well. I can only guess that the MMO freed up some sludge or crap and ended up cloging the lines. While I don't know if Royal Purple has any "cleaning" powers it could be a similar situation.

What I mean is that, I just bought 2 cases of Mobil 1 Syn and was wondering if before putting it in the Mobil 1, I use a cheaper oil to flush, I just dont embrace the idea of a $5 flush everytime to kindly. In other words, can I use a quart of Castrol to do the flushing and then adding the Mobil 1 afterwards.
And please, I dont want to ignite a Syn vs Non-Syn debate either.

This is from the Mobil1 website
Do I need to flush my engine before converting to Mobil 1 with SuperSyn?
No. There is no special preparation necessary when converting from conventional oil to Mobil 1 with SuperSyn. In fact, Mobil 1 with SuperSyn is compatible with conventional oil should it be necessary to mix the two. However, diluting it with conventional oil will reduce the superior performance characteristics of Mobil 1 with SuperSyn.
Oh and this is what Mobil says about taking changing your oil
Q: I currently go longer between oil changes than the manufacturer's recommendation, and my car is out of warranty. Is this okay if I am using Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™?
A: While Mobil 1 has given excellent results in extended oil drain tests, we prefer to remain conservative with our oil drain recommendations. We recommend that you can go all the way to the maximum mileage or time shown in your owner's manual for oil changes when using Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™. This allows the reserve protection capabilities of Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™ to cover unusual or unexpected driving conditions.
I switched over to Mobil1 15-w50 since my OMP isn't working and I run premix anyway. I get it for 19.99 for 5 gallons at Walmart and I can honestly say my car runs better with it... Just a little but it does run better.

Man how many times do I need to post this???

There is not one synthetic made that does not burn at or under 525F with most burning at around 400F... just like a conventional oil and well below the normal combustion temps in a rotary or piston motor.
