I wouldn't pay anything over $4k for one.
If I were there, I would pick the car apart like it was some lemon-law reject...

Well here in Cali, it's hard enough to find a T2. So the peeps here seem to charge TONS more for their cars. I think the two for sale over here on autotrader are $6800 and $7500. Both are 89+. However, I haven't even seen any T2's below 89 aside from one that was going for about $4k and that got snatched up quick. Here in cali we've got tons of ricers, but just as many guys like me lookin for a REAL car to smoke the ricers and V8's with.

I bought my TII in IMMACULATE condition for less than 3k (also w/ 60k on the clock). You'd have to be smoking on some funny cigarettes to pay over 4k for a s4 TII...with the possible exception of a well kept AE.

Or you have to live in CA :p

Seriously though, I bought my T2 from Texas because the price it would be worth over here is like $8k. But I'll tell you what, the whole process of shipping it from there to here with payment and all this is the BIGGEST PAIN IN THE *** I've ever had to deal with in my life (atleast that I can think of...)

I was thinking about offering the dealership $5000 or $6000 for their TII after subjecting it to a compression test, and that other great stuff like carfaxing.
