anyways to answet the original posters questions... about 250 -300 whp is dooable with a high flow cat and an electric air pump. if you do a search for how to get reliable 250-300 hp... and a search for emmisions, or corvette air pump, you will have enough information to make up your own mind without people like ^ telling you what you cannot do... which to me is an assinine statement in itself.
Good Luck to you.... research is your strongest resource.

Haha! Sorry I'm really bored and really drunk...

I would vote that you move to Oklahoma... NO EMISIONS!

Anyways, is 250-300 really possible with just a high flow cat and a electronic air pump? I would vote get a SAFC2 so you can tune your fuel settings for emissions. You just have to hide it but I think that would pay off pretty well.

Yes it is dooable depending on your State of Province, you might need to pass a visual as well as test. So in short yes... you shoudl really keep all the stock emmisions removing the pre-cat and upgrading the main cat to a high flow. and upgrade the Air pump to a corvette electric. As far as I know (I may be wrong and please correct met) but an SAFC is not against the rules, infact you can upgrade to an aftermarket EFI if you really wanted to... it just requires ALOT of tuning, which costs money. Best bet would be a Greddy-Emanage in my opinion.... but again this has ALL BEEN COVERED BEFORE... so search and yee shall learn all yee wants to know.

I agree. I just got mine done for $150 dollars at a shop less than 2 miles from my house. Smog guys will take a bribe as long as you don't seem like a Cop. I've been smogging mine illegally since I got the car, and have never had a problem finding someone to do it for me.
