Same thing here with my 87 se, only 245$.. hahaha 175k miles

And 1800$ for my 88 gxl, + 100 to have the compression check done. 127k miles on it, but he replaced the engine with a used one with ~85k on it about 500 miles before I bought it.

Paid 3500$ for my old red 88 gxl.. I didn't know I could get them for a lot cheaper....heh

I paid $1200 for my 88 convertible with 177K and a blown motor. I rebuilt the car completely, and now it's pretty good.

I paid $1400 for my brother's 87 TII with 74 K and a new motor at 43K. It had a busted door and bent rear quarter panel from an accident. I got the door for free from my friend, and it was $800 in labor at the body shop. I got this car from the original owner.

I paid $1400 for my 91 coupe when it had 116K and a blown motor.

2100 with my trade in.

car had zero rust on it when i bought it. underneath was mint cond. body was repainted yellow because of a front collision, found that on carfax.

top had two tears in it. seats were ripped, cats were plugged.

car ran great. had to fix a few thing due to malpractice (haha) but other than that its been good to me.

$600 for a n/a 90 GTU with 122k. Completely bone stock. 1 female adult owner. Very clean inside and out, except for a couple dings, and a little mark on the front bumper. The lady i bought it from thought the motor blew up on her, but once pulled down the road by my dad, it fired and ran smooth as can be. Did have to replace the 2nd set of injectors, because they where never used, and where gummed up solid. But i had an extra set laying around, so no big deal. However, due to 3" (not realy...but there was alot!) of carbon build up inside of the motor, at mile 127,500 the motor decided to let go. So $2k later, i have a new ported motor/clutch/pressure plate etc. I was offerd $4500 from my boss with new motor, and 3k + a 36" Sony TV by anouther guy before the motor let go. I figure i'll keep it, until the Rx-8 maybe Rx-7 comes out, then sell it and buy one of those. CJ

i paid $500.00 for my 87tII from my friend jay mejias the owner of jay-tech. the car had no engine, but had 89-91 front fenders, bumper and steering wheel. he also let me use his shop and tools to install the jspec engine i ordered for it. also he did some custom work to the exhaust manifold so i could use the j-spec exhaust manifold on the car at no charge and got me discounts on some mods!

yamatokh- your car sounds like a gxl, with the adjustable suspension.

I paid $2000 for my 89 gxl with 107,000 on it. The car had front end damage, the interior was all ragged out but now it looks nice.

Stuff waiting to go in
brembo slotted/drilled rotors
my new custom front end
manual steering rack
full bushing upgrade

Paid $3250 for my 89 GXL, body has some door dings but other than that it was in great condition. Only had 88000 miles on it back in April when I bought it and was rebuilt 650 miles before that. Converting Auto to manual transmission cost me 850 dollars, turbo hood was 275 and the vert wheels were 250. Havent had any problems in the 8k miles I have driven it.

Man, you guys get your FC's for nothing!!!!!!! I have bought 2 here in Texas and paid way more than anybody(there arent too many fc's down here) and for what these 2 POS's were actually worth

1st 86 N/A SE $2500
problems: A/C didnt work(compressor was shot), Alternator and batt were toast(got it home though) Idle was Fubar'd, Bald Tires, Both Fuel filters were clogged, Power mirrors didnt work(only power accessoriy on the car) Windshield wipers only worked on one setting.
112K
That was the N/A I did the carb conversion on

2. 87 dunno what package $2800
Problems: excessive coolant loss, excessive oil consumption(12 qts in under 2300 miles), No clutch, fan clutch was toast, Fubar'd idle, constantly overheating, Windshield wipers didnt work at all
163K
this was my daily driver

These were the only 2 FC's that I could find for sale in a 6 month period in the Austin area. What kind of fucked up **** is that!??!

I bought my 88 T2 for 4200. The car had 110K but in and out its in perfect shape. Engine had low comp. so I'm getting it rebuilt. The guy who had it b4 me was the original owner but let it overheat pretty bad a while back.

i brought my '86 n/a for $1950... which i dont think was a really bad price considering my car was running in very good shape, too. The only real problem its given me was when a couple weeks ago the engine was flooded, but now my baby's running greater than before. Brought it back in the end of june with 137,XXX miles. It now has 142,XXX miles. Oh yeah, n da other problem with my car is the dent i caused in the rear fender when my tire tread ripped off the tire while i was going 120 on the highway, so gotta fix that too.

Here ya go guys;

My first 7 is/was an '83 gsl i paid $900 from my brother after he spent like $500 on blueprinting and polishing and drilling out the secondaries on the stock carb and getting a custom reactor-back 2.25"
exhaust w/ a 50-series Flowmaster (which sounds ungodly doing driveby's on the highway at 5000rpm ~ )
A man called me one day and told me somebody told him i buy and sell cars (i do, on the side; i work at a buick/GMC/pontiac/honda dealer all day), and told me he had 3 fc3s's he'd let me get for $1500...I went out to look and here's what i found...
'87 gxl-sport/139k/"thought it was blowed(??) up" (ran awesome after unflood)
'87 turbo II body w/ 102k miles (no eng/trans) it was under a car cover when i came up, she's a beaut
'88 gxl/120k miles/runs great, clutch is ganked/sporting some "of them too big aftermarket rims" (17" lexani's on it, i sold later)

This guy was a big tyme hick, he hates import stuff....i think i did good, how bout ya'll? lol

oh yeah, by the way i didn't pay him $1500....i chewed him down to $900, where i promptly whipped out the 'ole knot and laid it on the hood for him, hehe.....i think that's the best deal i've got in a while
