How Much Boost?
How much boost can safely I run? My car is quite modded, in a nut shell I have a reworked turbo from rotory shack and 680cc primaries and 880cc secondaires. I have the Digital Tuning 1.7 version ECU, Walboro fuel pump, ARC top mount Intercooler, and RB turbo back exhaust. I can shoot the boost to 18 lb with absolutely no problem, and can go higher- not sure how much higher, my guage stops at 20lbs. what's safe? what exactly does an electronic boost controller do and is it any good?

Boost controller pretty much lies to the wastegate telling it when to open and close. Easy way of adjusting how much boost you are running. The electronic ones are expensive but nice to have. I wouldn't recommend running 18lb with those injectors. I know someone with 1680cc secondaries and only does 15psi on 93 octane. I bet you duty cycle is through the roof. That being said there is a possibility that you car will lean out and when your car is lean in boost... that means rebuild.

I'm planning on staying at around 15psi and will be going with 1680cc secondaries and 550cc primaries. You can prolly get away with 1680cc secondaries but if your running more boost thatn 15+ then I'd go with some 850cc primaries or larger.
