I've got a manual rack on my car. I'm not sure if it came like that or if it was replaced later, but judging my my cars total lack of any option, I'd say it came like that. My only complaint is that when I'm totally stopped it can be kinda hard to turn, but once i get it moving its pretty easy to turn. While the manual rack might be a little slower than the power one, I don't think its too slow. I don't know what its like with PS, but the road feel is incredible with the manual rack. I've never had any problem correcting when the tail hangs out, either.

I hope it feels good with the lines looped and no pump... It used to feel even still a little bit easy to turn even after the speed sensitive thingymabob kicked in...

I think my PS is only half-working... I drove ddubs car when he had PS and it was way way looser than mine. Then I drove his car after he took it out, and it didn't feel much harder to turn than mine does. Therefore, I think I'll rip mine out, along with my broken AC and a few other things.
